Sacramental Milestones

Celebrations are an essential part of life.  They allow us to express our joy, gratitude, and appreciation for the people and events that matter to us.  Celebrations also help us to create lasting memories, strengthen our bonds, and enrich our faith.  Mourning is a form of celebration – a way of acknowledging the importance and value of a person’s life.

During the month of September 2023, the following milestones were celebrated by our parish community.

Sacrament of Confirmation

Over two weekends in September, 85 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation during ceremonies across our parishes.  The children were confirmed by Archbishop Denis Hart and Fr Tony Kerin, Episcopal Vicar and neighbouring Box Hill Parish Priest.
