School Voices

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Our Lady of Good Counsel School held their annual Mother’s Day Breakfast. It was a wonderful way to honour all the mothers in the school community and acknowledge the immense contribution they have in our lives. Our mothers were treated in style and served by staff. Students created artwork for each of their mothers and arrived at the end of the breakfast to sing to them. The event was a huge success and many tears of joy were shed.

Moving on, at OLGC School, the staff has been having an incredible week focusing on their wellbeing. The results have been amazing, with the team going above and beyond to support each other. They even had the luxury of no meetings, which was a real treat. The students have also been showing their appreciation for their teachers by creating beautiful posters that showcase all the things they love about them. It’s truly heartwarming to see such positivity and teamwork in action!

Lastly, mark your calendars for an exciting event coming up next week! OLGC’s Trivia Night, organized by the Parents Association, is an excellent opportunity to engage in an enjoyable and engaging evening while simultaneously contributing to a worthy cause. This fundraising event is promised to be nothing short of amazing, and we cordially invite all members of the Parish community to join in the merriment by building tables of up to ten individuals, whether you choose to attend with friends, family, or as a solo guest.
