The Parishes Youth Led Mass was back in full swing on the first Sunday of July as a talented crowd of musicians gathered together to lead the congregation at 5.00 pm Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. This month, the group welcomed new members and familiar faces alike from various schools and parishes, including Genazzano FCJ College, St John’s Parish in Mitcham and St Benedict’s Parish in Burwood. All together, we had an incredible eleven young people worshipping through music!
New members are always welcome to join us once a month for the Youth Led Mass. You can participate through music (singing and/or instruments) or various other liturgical roles throughout the Mass.
The next Youth Led Mass will take place on Sunday, 1 August at 5.00 pm at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. It is the only Sunday evening Mass in the Parish and is open to young and old alike.
