The seven sacraments include Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, also known as Communion, Reconciliation (or Penance), the Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony. Sacraments are sacred rituals of the Church through which God is present. In the Sacraments, words, actions and symbols are used to communicate God’s presence and action.
