Representative Parish Council

Liong is the current interim chairperson on the Parish Pastoral Council.  He is a member of the Camberwell Community and regularly attends Our Lady of Victories Basilica.

Anne is a member of the Camberwell community and regularly attends Our Lady of Victories Basilica with her husband.

David has been in the Parish since the family moved into St Helens Road in 1999 and since 2010 when with his wife Sue moved to Aerial at Camberwell Junction.  So handy, just a short walk up to Our Lady of Victories!

Prior to moving to the Parish they were in St Dominics Parish and their children were educated there.  They have very happy memories of the school, parent’s associations and the tennis club.

David is married to Sue and they just passed their 50-year milestone!   They have four children and six grandchildren ranging in age from 16 to 2, so are kept on their toes.

Simon was baptised at All Hallows, is a former student and parishioner of Our Holy Redeemer (where he fondly remembers John Brosnan), and is a member of the Deepdene community, regularly attending Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

Simon’s wife Becky and their three sons are also proud members of the Xavier College community.

Simon is a director of Deepdene-based law firm Eastern Bridge. In addition to his law degree, Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in accounting and audit.  In addition to Eastern Bridge, Simon has the responsibility of trustee directorship of a major group of companies in the food industry.

Outside the office, Simon enjoys dabbling in astronomy, he has a real interest in technology and wishes he knew more about Australian art.
