Gradual Reopening of our Churches

From 1 June, new arrangements came into effect for places of worship as Covid-19 restrictions eased. This means that we are able to celebrate Mass for pre-organised groups of up to 20 people, in addition to those who are necessary for the service to take place.  In Camberwell, Balwyn & Deepdene our regular Mass timetable resumes from the weekend of 6&7 June.  Masses will be celebrated as follows:

Sunday Mass

  • 5.30 pm Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deepdene
  • 6.00 pm Saturday at Our Lady of Victories Basilica, Camberwell
  • 9.00 am Sunday at All Hallows Church, Balwyn
  • 10.00 am Sunday at Our Lady of Victories Basilica, Camberwell
  • 10.30 am Sunday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deepdene
  • 5.00 pm Sunday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deepdene
  • 6.00 pm Sunday at Our Lady of Victories Basilica, Camberwell

Weekday Mass

  • 9.15 am Tuesday & Thursday at All Hallows Church, Balwyn
  • 9.15 am Wednesday & Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deepdene
  • 9.30 am Thursday & Saturday at Our Lady of Victories Basilica, Camberwell

Please note that no more than 20 people will be able to attend each Mass.  You should not feel obliged to attend Mass at the moment.  It is recommended that if you are in an at risk category or are feeling unwell, please stay at home.  In order to avoid the gathering of large groups you will not be able to simply turn up at the Church, instead you will need to pre-book via Try Booking.  Once you have registered you will be met at the Church door where your name will be confirmed.  We are required to keep records of names and contact details of those in attendance.

Try Booking will open at 5.00 pm on Tuesday for Sunday Mass and Weekday Mass for the following week.

We will continue to stream Mass to you at home each week, which will be the way that most parishioners continue to participate in our Sunday Eucharist.
