Thank you for your continued support

Thanks to everyone who continues to support our parishes.  As we approach the end of the financial year we would also like to thank those who support our parish financially, especially during this critical time when we are not able to come together as a parish community.

So much has changed for us in such a short period of time, the places we work and call home, our gathering spaces, the world in general.  Your constant support of our parish during this time has been remarkable.

Generous financial commitments to our parish helped make it possible for us to do more than we thought we would be able to do during this Covid-19 period. Some of these things include:

• the successful launch of our new parishes website
• weekly Sunday Mass recordings posted on our YouTube channel
• regular attention to the ongoing maintenance and care of our parish facilities; church’s, offices and grounds
• adult learning via Zoom where we explored the upcoming Plenary Council 2020: What can we expect? Video presentations of the four presentations continue to be available on our website and YouTube channel

The impact from this pandemic will not be known for some time.  With this in mind we are:

• looking into investing in equipment that will enable us to continue the live streaming of our Masses on a weekly basis
• continually exploring and developing avenues of communication including social media, so we may keep connected with our parishioners
• seeking to continue to connect particularly with the sick and vulnerable within our parish.
