CatholicCare Sunday Appeal 2025

CatholicCare Victoria is the social services agency of the four Catholic dioceses in Victoria, empowering families, children, and individuals to build thriving communities.  They strive to encourage strength and resilience in every person at every stage of life, and we invite you today to help continue their mission.

CatholicCare Victoria focuses on real life issues and offers practical support for all members of the community.  Their programs and services include counselling and mental health services, social housing, family and relationship services, specialised support for children and teens, refugee and asylum seeker settlement support, pastoral care, support for separating families, homelessness and advocacy support, social housing, and a variety of courses to strengthen relationships and wellbeing.

In the last year, CatholicCare have supported over 32,000 people:

  • 27,925 families and individuals by strengthening family relationships to help them survive
  • 2,213 children and young people to reach their full potential
  • 1,098 refugees and asylum seekers – enhance their wellbeing and improve opportunities for people resettling in Victoria
  • 969 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with support to obtain long-term safe and affordable accommodation.

And CatholicCare have built 37 new homes.  The social housing builds are in Officer, Melton and Bannockburn.

The wonderful support CatholicCare Victoria receives from our parish community will go towards funding a range of these programs, so they can continue to be there for families when they’re most vulnerable.  Please continue to share in Christ’s mission by donating to CatholicCare Victoria’s Sunday Appeal today.

Donations may be made via the appeal envelopes available in our churches this weekend or by, making an online donation via CatholicCare Victoria’s website or telephone 1800 123 228 or you may wish to use the QR code below.  All gifts of $2 and above are tax deductible.

The compassion of our parish community allows CatholicCare Victoria to build thriving communities, where everyone belongs.

On behalf of CatholicCare Victoria, thank you for your faithful and generous compassion toward struggling Victorians – and helping them to live their life to the full.
