Children’s Liturgy of the Word returns

Children’s Liturgy has been running at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church (OLPS), Wattle Park for quite a few years with the wonderful support of our parish families.  It provides a great opportunity for children to take an active part in the liturgy, keeping them engaged by directing the learning at their level through activities, stories, play and craft.

We are very pleased to announce this wonderful tradition will recommence on Sunday, 25 April at 9.00 am Mass at OLPS, and to celebrate the occasion morning tea will be provided following Mass.

Children’s Liturgy runs every Sunday throughout the school term and all school-aged children are invited to join us.  Children love the opportunity to work together in a fun and engaging manner whilst learning about the teachings of Jesus and how to practically apply those teachings in their everyday lives.  The children also perform the Nativity Play at the end of the year on Christmas Eve which is a highlight for the whole community.
