From the Parish House

The current term of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) will conclude on 30 June 2025.  We are now warmly inviting nominations for new members to join the next Council and participate in guiding the leadership and mission of our parish.

I have invited our current members, Phil Mann, Faye Dennis, Aloysius Gomez, Frank Peck, David Rush and Geoff Rankin (Finance & Investment Committee representative), to consider extending their service for an additional year to help ensure stability and continuity.  We also extend our appreciation to our outgoing members, John Cunningham, Joyce Ferng and Cathy Jenkins, for their dedicated service and commitment to the life and leadership of our parish.

Ideal candidates for the Parish Pastoral Council should bring experience and insight into parish life, strategic planning, and sound governance practices. Our aim is to ensure broad and meaningful representation from across our diverse parish, reflecting the richness of age, gender and culture within our faith community.

If you have ever felt called to serve the parish in this leadership capacity, or if you know someone whose gifts and spirit could strengthen our shared mission, we warmly encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Nominees should:

  • Be a registered parishioner of Our Lady of Pentecost Parish.
  • Be willing to participate in a discernment and selection process.

To express your interest, please click on the link and fill out the Expression of Interest form.

Please submit your nomination by 15 June 2025 to Fr Sang Ho at [email protected].

Once we receive your expression of interest, we will be in touch to invite you into the process of discernment and selection.

With many blessings,

Fr Sang Ho
