Meet Fr Steve Tynan MGL

Fr Steve will be celebrating Masses across our parishes this year and is looking forward to getting to know the different communities that make up our parishes.

Fr Steve is a founding member of the Missionaries of God’s Love, an Australian Congregation of Diocesan Right. Steve was ordained in 1992 and spent three years working as a chaplain and assistant in a parish in Australia before spending 26 years in the Philippines in a variety of roles including Parish Priest (16 years) and Spiritual Director to a number of religious communities and organisations. In July 2022 he was recalled to Australia and appointed as Rector of the MGL Seminary in Warrigal Road, Burwood, where he is slowly settling into his new role.
