Sacramental Milestones – October 2021

Once again our Churches are open and welcoming families to celebrate sacraments.  Six infants were Baptised last weekend and families were overjoyed after a long wait. Baptisms are always happy occasions and these celebrations were even more so after almost two years of lockdowns.  In baptism we celebrate the gift of new life and the enrichment of the Church as new members are brough forward.  We pray now that the gift of faith grows always stronger in these young peoples lives.

On Sunday afternoon as the sun was shining, Olivia Smith finally walked down the aisle at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church to Here comes the Sun, by The Beatles and performed by Raphael Wong.  Olivia was accompanied to the altar by both her parents Christine and Damien Smith.  We wish Olivia and her new husband, Paul Sporton every blessing for a long and happy marriage.
