The HOPE for Boroondara and Beyond Food Drive

The HOPE for Boroondara and Beyond Food Drive will take place on Saturday, 2 May from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm at various supermarkets across the City of Boroondara.

On the day, shoppers will be invited to take a blue HOPE bag as they enter the supermarket and purchase additional grocery items. These donated goods will be distributed to local agencies that provide emergency relief to people in need within our community.

Our parish has been invited to support this initiative, and we are seeking volunteers to help in the following ways:

Deliver leaflets to letterboxes in your area, one to two weeks before the event to help promote the Food Drive.
Volunteer for a two-hour shift at a designated supermarket on the day, inviting shoppers to take a blue HOPE bag and donate extra groceries.
